Forklift Truck Driver Machine Shop

Responsibilities

• Operate a Forklift to ensure a continuous supply of material into the Machine Shop area
• Ensure that materials are loaded correctly and transported safely
• Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork as appropriate is maintained and kept up to date
• Carry out regular checks and maintenance of the Forklift
• Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
• To complete daily safety checks to ensure work area is tidy and free from hazards
• To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to handle and work to tight deadlines
• Desirable:
• Valid forklift truck license
