Requirements

• 6+ months of manufacturing equipment operation experience, printing experience preferred
• Education:
• High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Other Skills/Qualifications:
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to perform adjustments and maintenance
• Able to follow written instructions
• Detail oriented with focus on quality
• Problem solving skills
• Must be proficient in the use of a PC
• Able to detect subtle differences between colors, and achieve a match
• Physical Requirements
• Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing (industrial printing) environment and may involve exposure to noise hazards, high speed mechanical moving parts, chemical hazards, and hazards common to press operation and the printing industry.
• Press activities and printing equipment operation will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Such PPE may include hearing protection, eye protection, hand protection and safety-toe footwear.

Requisition #: 20670 Functional Area: Manufacturing; Printing Employment Type: Full-Time Work Options: In Office at Location Specified Above #LI-Onsite Work Hours: 2:30pm to 10:30pm or 10:30 pm to 6:30 am Position Summary The Web Offset Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of printing equipment, including sheet-fed and web, in alignment with manufacturing standards and product specifications. This role involves operating both basic and advanced printing machinery, ensuring high-quality output, maintaining equipment performance, and supporting efficient production processes. The operator plays a key role in meeting production goals while adhering to safety and quality requirements across multiple print platforms. This position offers a clean, climate-controlled, and safe work environment. Available work hours are either 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (2nd shift) or 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM (3rd shift), allowing you to choose the schedule that works best for your lifestyle. Job Responsibilities Sets-up and operates press according to production specifications and manufacturing standards. Responsible for quality and quantity of finished product and follows all job checking procedures. Properly records time and materials on each individual job, as well as recording daily information utilizing automated data collection system. Handles routine daily and monthly maintenance as required. Works closely with the manufacturing maintenance staff on the preventive maintenance program, as necessary. Works overtime as needed to meet production requirements. Able to work any of the three shifts as needed for production or training.
