The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) serves as the IT hub of the U.S. Department of Labor. Qualifying specialized experience for GS-15 includes: Experience leading enterprise modernization efforts and migrating complex legacy systems to Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)-authorized cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to enhance performance, security, and efficiency. Experience developing and implementing cloud strategy, governance, and policy frameworks aligned with OMB, NIST, Zero Trust, and agency requirements to ensure secure, consistent cloud adoption. Experience providing authoritative guidance on cloud architecture, including multi-cloud integration, containerization, DevSecOps, AI solutions, and enterprise automation for mission-critical systems. Experience managing a complex multi-account environment with challenging agency-level billing processes.
