The Graphic Specialist role reports through the Artwork Production team in the AW DTP Platform. The Graphics Specialist partners with Design Leaders and Brand to execute design development as envisioned by Design/Brand. This role is responsible for producing Digital Templates and graphic adaptations meeting Design Intent expectations. The Graphics Specialist's execution meets quality standards and consistent visualization across all product forms and variants on shelf. S/he is a strong collaborator within the Artwork Production team closely working with the Color & Pre-Press specialists and the Artwork flow team. This role requires a fundamental understanding of design, brand identity, design standards and regulatory style guidelines, combined with a deep understanding of graphic file construction. Achieving Irresistibly Superior Printed packaging relies on graphic specialists to maintain the design intent when realized across different product forms, technical drawings. They are responsible for the design intent layout, proportionally scaled design intent elements. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE Plans and manages design execution work and critical path schedule, owns elevating issues, with implications, to key business partners, at-the-right-time, to enable informed decision-making and effective resolution, and drive on-time/on-quality artwork file delivery Execute with excellence and on Design Intent graphics adaptations and Digital Templates Manages projects within WebCenter, a graphics lifecycle management tool. Provides low-level support regarding WebCenter to the multi-functional team. Deliver Design Intent Production KPIs on target: AW on Design Intent, On-Time Production, Qualitative In-Market Complaints, Quality Incident Rate Govern and manage asset library. Own the multi-functional approval process for Graphic adaptations and Digital Templates. Executes Quality Control checks. Adapt and produce minor graphic assets in-house in partnership with Brand and Design Ensures regulatory style guidelines have been applied. Implement Design Intent change management and resolve quality issues. Independently and collaboratively brings innovative ideas/search & reapply learning that drive continual improvements in quality, productivity and efficiency. Proactively explores both cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities. Able to accurately track all Design Delivery metrics on a quarterly/annual basis. Builds capability & mastery in self. Actively drives organization/company process transformation efforts Job Qualifications 1. Degree in graphic design/related field and/or 2-3 years of experience in graphic and/or print production. Munsell Test score of 'Average Discrimination' minimum, 'Superior Discrimination' preferred. 2. Fluency in Graphic Design Tools Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign 3. Brand Equity & Design Understanding: Strong understanding of brand architecture, design language/identity systems, equity assets and application of design principles to achieve visual consistency. Ability to quickly assess design concepts Ability to adapt and apply design intent across variants, diverse product forms, substrates and various print processes through the approval process for representative artworks 4.
