Responsible for the basic cleaning and upkeep of the Rehab Department. Assists therapists with patient care and other departmental duties. Performs other patient care procedures under the direction of a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist.. Responsibilities

• *Responsible for the basic cleaning and upkeep of the Rehab Department.
• *Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served.
• *Assists therapists/assistants with patient care and other departmental duties.
• *Performs other patient care procedures under the guidance of a licensed clinician.
• *Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, modalities pertinent to the rehab setting.
• *Settings may include inpatient, outpatient, and aquatics.
• *Independently lead community members in aquatics and wellness classes (CDS only)
• *Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in health-related field such as Exercise technology, Nutrition, Health Behaviors and/or Health Education
• *Or a bachelors degree and the pre-requisites for a medical related program (i.e. PA, PT, OT, SLP, RN)
• *Or five years experience as a Rehab Tech at PHS in lieu of Bachelors Degree.
