Assistant Soundman/Soundman (Production Resource - Studios, Audio Group)

Responsibilities

• Purpose of this role
• Provide both creative input and technical execution for audio in a broadcast-standard environment across TV productions, outside broadcasts (OB), and studio events.
• Scope of this role
• Handles setup, mixing, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure clean, reliable audio during live or recorded production.
• Job Description
• Support the planning and execution of audio strategies to meet the required sound specifications for TV production
• Assist with basic TV broadcast audio mixing, Front-of-House (FOH), and stage monitoring operations, ensuring consistent audio quality for both live and recorded productions
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of sound equipment and track the status of items undergoing repairs

Requirements

• NITEC in Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Audio/Video Field or Diploma in Audio Engineering / Film, Sound and Video
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Audio/Broadcast Industry
• Basic networking knowledge
• Strong communication skills; responsible, organised, flexible, and a supportive team player
• Problem solving skills, troubleshooting etc.
• Able to work shifts
• Physically fit to work in outdoor environments
• Able to work at height
