- What You Need to Have to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Ergonomics, Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Design, Biomechanics, Systems Design, or a related discipline with coursework in human factors or ergonomics.
- 2-5 years of experience in Ergonomics, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or Human Systems.
- Experience supporting ergonomic or human factors activities related to hardware, vehicles, facilities, or operational environments.
- Understanding of user-centred design principles, usability testing, and ergonomic assessment methods.
- Familiarity with anthropometric analysis and ergonomic evaluations.
- Experience using human modelling or simulation tools such as Siemens Process Simulate Human, JACK, or similar software is considered an asset.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings through written reports and presentations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to support research, testing, and design evaluations to improve End User experience and usability.
- Willingness to travel as required.
