Responsibilities
- Execute playback functions using EVS IP Director during live and pre-recorded productions, ensuring accuracy and timing of all on-air elements
- Curate, organize, and manage video content within the ENPS rundown to support efficient show flow and real-time adjustments
- Cue, play, and manage video assets, including highlights, sound bites, and inbound feeds, in high-pressure, live broadcast environments
- Collaborate with producers, associate directors, directors, and edit coordinators to align on content priorities and playback timing
- Manage rapid turnaround of incoming media, including one-plays, highlights, and breaking content
- Maintain full awareness of live production status, proactively adjusting playback to accommodate editorial and timing changes
- Ensure quality control of all video elements, verifying content accuracy and playback readiness prior to air
- Support control room operations by effectively communicating timing, content availability, and playback status
- Adapt quickly to changing production needs, including late-breaking content and on-the-fly editorial decisions
- Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience in playback operations within live sports television production
- Certified and highly proficient in EVS IP Director and LSM operations
- Strong working knowledge of EVS systems (IP Director, IP Web, XS, AB Roll playout module, LSM)
- Understanding of live production workflows, including file-based media management and signal routing
- Strong familiarity with football and live game production environments
Requirements
- Experience working in fast-paced, live sports broadcast environments with real-time content integration
- Familiarity with ENPS or similar rundown systems
- Experience supporting multi-feed or whip-around style productions
