Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of petroleum, petrochemical, marine fuel, lubricant, water, and other chemical samples using standard laboratory test methods and analytical instruments.
- Receive, prepare, label, and process laboratory samples for testing.
- Perform laboratory analyses in accordance with ASTM, ISO, IP, and other applicable test methods.
- Interpret, record, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.

- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and perform routine housekeeping duties.
- Assist in inventory management of laboratory chemicals, reagents, consumables, and equipment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor or Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a petroleum, petrochemical, oil & gas, or commercial testing laboratory.
- Knowledge of ASTM, ISO, IP, and laboratory testing procedures.
- Experience working with petroleum, petrochemical, and laboratory chemicals.
- Ability to differentiate colours accurately.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Able to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Positive attitude, dependable, and a strong team player.
- Willing to work on a rotating 12-hour shift .
