Responsibilities

  • Working within our central Network office, the Supply Chain Associate has an excellent knowledge and experience of Supply Chain and Procurement processes across multiple categories. The Supply Chain Associate will report directly to a Leader on the Supply Chain team. Key responsibilities include:
  • Support and manage cross-functional projects involving procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Participate in Projects and activities involving supplier sourcing, price negotiation, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • Manage and update Coupa procurement systems, ensuring accurate, up-to-date data for decision-making.
  • Track all inventory through the supply chain, from PO placement through production, transit, and delivery to the destination.
  • Support developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk management frameworks for supply chain initiatives.
  • Drive innovation and process improvements, demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach to solving challenges and taking calculated risks.
  • Support and improve material management functions, including inventory control, warehousing, logistics, and receiving.
  • Execute new or improved purchasing and material management processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Work closely with school operation teams and other network departments to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services required for instructional excellence.
  • Define and track performance metrics to measure and evaluate supply chain and project outcomes.
  • Communicate project updates and procurement strategies clearly, concisely, and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Foster resilience and openness when navigating obstacles, ensuring projects stay on track despite challenges.

Requirements

  • A successful applicant will have the following experiences and characteristics:
  • Preference for candidates with the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) designation.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain and procurement, preferably in a high-expectations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supply chain logistics, and vendor management.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional projects with complex timelines and deliverables.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and procurement systems.
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project management software to track, manage, and deliver projects is desirable.
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets, including Google Sheets and MS Excel.
  • Impeccable communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interface with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative, flexible, and feedback-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and customer service.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. This position is not bonus eligible.
  • Compensation Range
  • $67,000 - $85,000 USD
