This position is open within the Network Security Engineering team, which has full end-to-end ownership of network security tools that allow for strong security prevention, detection and response capabilities. The mission of the team is to ensure SWIFT's cyber infrastructure is in line with industry standards by product selection for new tools, deployment, configuration, maintenance, support and license management. Your main tasks will be: Participate into implementation of new initiatives regarding Cyber security, to enhance prevention, detection and investigation capabilities. Support the security roadmap for future enhancements of our defense. Evaluate and integrate new security solutions in the existing infrastructure. Support operational teams maintaining security infrastructure (intrusion detection, remote access security, email & web security, anti-malware, etc.) Support security investigations Occasionally participate in conducting audits and risk assessments. Be part of on-call rotation
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Work experience in a medium or large computing environment with demonstrable skills security concepts
- Enthusiastic about security, eager to learn
- Self-motivated and must take ownership of issues
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with Windows & Linux operating systems, good understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
