Reimagine What's Possible We have an immediate opening for a Process Controls Engineer working hybrid out of Texas City, TX . This position will be part of Air Products' Americas Operations Central Engineering - HyCO Process Controls Engineering group and will preferably be based in Texas City, TX but consideration will be given to other locations. Travel is mostly local within the Houston region, but infrequent travel may be required to other Air Products locations in North America; the incumbent should expect to travel ~ 5% of the time outside the region. We offer flexible hybrid remote/onsite work accommodation. Process Controls Engineers work closely with our operating facilities as the authorities in DCS, SIS, and PLC automation system build and support. They provide mentorship on instrumentation and control devices to keep our plants operating safely and provide product to our customers. S/they will work on industrial process control and safety instrumented systems in support of capital projects, standards, plant production initiatives, and reliability improvement efforts. The individual will work closely with regional process controls engineers, plant process engineers, area managers, site supervisors and operating staff.
