ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a junior-to-mid level Business Analyst, Data & Insights to support the Data team in turning business questions into useful reporting, analysis, and recommendations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, asking practical business questions, and communicating findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Working closely with the Data Lead and data engineer, you will help scope reporting requests, clarify basic metrics and definitions, validate data outputs, support dashboard improvements, and prepare insight summaries for client presentations, management briefings, and internal discussions. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Analysis, Requirements & Stakeholder Management ▸ Work with internal stakeholders to understand business questions, reporting needs, and decision-making context. ▸ Help translate stakeholder requests into clear analytical briefs, data requirements, and reporting specifications for the Data Team. ▸ Clarify objectives, assumptions, metric definitions, and expected outputs with guidance from the Data Lead. ▸ Coordinate with commercial, marketing, client service, and data teams to keep analytics requests moving and ensure outputs are practical and timely. Reporting Products, Dashboards & Process Improvement ▸ Support the maintenance and improvement of internal BI dashboards covering sales, patron behaviour, campaign performance, and client activity. ▸ Gather user feedback, note reporting gaps, and document simple dashboard improvement requests. ▸ Assist standardizing recurring reporting templates, metrics, and workflows to improve consistency and reduce manual effort. ▸ Check dashboard outputs, data extracts, and recurring reports against source data before circulation. Data Analysis, Insights & Recommendations ▸ Analyse patron, sales, campaign, and event performance data to identify useful trends, patterns, and opportunities. ▸ Use existing patron segmentation frameworks to interpret lifecycle groups such as high-value, at-risk, and lapsed patrons, and translate findings into practical next steps. ▸ Support behavioural analyses covering genre preferences, booking patterns, group size, attendance frequency, spend behaviour, and Culture Pass usage. ▸ Summaries analytical findings into clear observations and recommended next steps for client, management, or internal discussions. Client Deliverables & Business Reporting ▸ Prepare business-ready data packs, insight summaries, and reporting outputs for assigned promoter clients, venues, and internal stakeholders. ▸ Support ad-hoc analyses such as patron retention studies, genre gateway analysis, cohort comparisons, and campaign reviews. ▸ Present findings in plain language, connecting data observations to business implications and suggested actions. ▸ Ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and appropriate for the intended audience, whether for client presentations, management briefings, or internal reviews. Documentation& Best Practices ▸ Document business rules, metric definitions, reporting logic, assumptions, and data checks in a clear and organised manner. ▸ Write clear SQL and Python code where required, with support from the Data Lead and data engineer. ▸ Adhere to SISTIC's data governance and confidentiality standards, maintaining clear records for patron-level and commercially sensitive data work. KEY OUTPUTS ▸ Analytical briefs, data requirements, and reporting specifications for dashboard or analysis requests. ▸ Dashboard improvement notes, metric definitions, validation checks, and user feedback summaries. ▸ Client analytics reports, management summaries, and data packs that translate findings into practical business recommendations. ▸ Standardised reporting templates and improved workflows for recurring client, management, and internal analytics outputs. ▸ Ad-hoc analyses, patron segmentation outputs, and insight summaries in response to stakeholder questions and business priorities. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Business Analysis & Communication ▸ Ability to understand business questions and translate them into clear analytical tasks with guidance. ▸ Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across business and technical teams. ▸ Comfortable documenting metric definitions, reporting requirements, workflow notes, and validation checks. ▸ Able to explain
