Job Description This role is responsible for contract and procurement services that will support X-energy's business effort. They will manage the entire life cycle of contracts, including working with customers and suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions, and contract administration. Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities Prepare, review, and negotiate standard contract agreements and documents, to include teaming, non-disclosure, contract, subcontract, and other vendor agreements with appropriate supervision. Identify distinct contract requirements, provisions, and terms and conditions for flow down to subcontractors and vendors. Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual requirements. Generate and negotiate change orders and modifications with appropriate supervision. Resolve issues with customers, subcontractors, and vendors as needed. Prepare and disseminate information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. Respond to purchase requisitions by defining and justifying the expense. Maintain approved vendor list through verification that they are not listed on the Excluded Parties List (EPL) or the Denied Parties List. Support company proposal efforts as necessary, including scheduling proposal kickoff, pricing, and other review meetings, assisting in subcontractor and vendor participation, and assisting in preparation, organization, and filing of proposal documentation. Maintain procurement policies and procedures. Ensure all procurement files are compliant. Maintain all documents, reviews, awards, and contracts in an organized, detailed, and centralized filing system. Uphold open lines of communication with program managers, finance, and customers as required. Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication. Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Job Profile Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any field. Years of relevant experience may be in lieu of a bachelor's degree. U.S. Citizenship is required. Level IV Level Tasks/Responsibilities Lead the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities, listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, for contracts of all sizes, without close supervision and some latitude for independent judgment. Provide feedback and guidance to more junior team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document. Shares knowledge related to industry best practices and standards with others across the team. Level Minimum Qualifications Typically, ten years of experience in contracts/proposal administration is required. Experience conducting complex negotiations. Advanced experience with federal contracts, and knowledge of commercial procurements. Understanding of federal government regulatory guidelines, as appropriate. Location: 151 Lafayette Drive, Suite 300, Oak Ridge, TN Work Site Expectations: 5 days in office Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri
