As a Lead Component Planning Manager supporting the Custom Paks Manufacturing Team, you will be trusted to lead component supply planning and ensure material availability for customized surgical packs at our Puurs, Belgium site. In this role, a typical day will include: Collaborating with Production Planning, Procurement, and Global S&OP teams to resolve supply challenges and prevent component shortages Leading daily operations and performance of a team of 3 planners, ensuring timely and accurate planning execution Managing inventory levels, safety stock, and budget ownership to maintain optimal coverage across approximately 1100 active components Coordinating supplier relationships and overseeing ordering, delivery priorities, and inbound warehouse flows Driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting audits (cGMP/ISO), and leading component-related projects and rationalization efforts WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience) 2-5 years of experience in supply chain or planning within a complex manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of SAP MM/PP (MRP, purchasing, master data), with exposure to WMS, QM, or BI tools Fluent in Dutch and English (French and/or German are a plus) Hands-on mindset, strong leadership skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON: Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with strong cross-functional exposure Take ownership of critical supply chain processes with high impact on customer service levels Access to development opportunities, structured onboarding, and career growth within a global organization Alcon Careers See your impact at alcon.com/careers ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker If you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
