About the role

Advise management on potential risks faced by the organisation. Analyseand assess the impact of investment decisions on the financial position of theorganisation.Analyse the financial performance and position of the organisationand develop suitable accounting policies to meet reporting requirements.Analyse,compile and present management information for the management's decisionmaking.Assess the chargeable gains and losses of the organisation and itscapital gain tax costs.Assess the effectiveness of the organisation's financialsystem and determine areas of improvement.Calculate accounting ratios that haveto do with profitability, liquidity, efficiency and position.Calculatefinancial and non-financial performance measurements to report on theorganisation's performance.Communicate to the management all relevant taxissues to minimise the organisation's tax costs.Identify and adopt businessintelligence tools to analyse financial data and information.Manage adocumented system of accounting policies and procedures.Oversee the preparationof the organisation's budget.Plan and coordinate the annual financial auditprocess.Provide financial leadership and strategic plans to support sustainablevalue-creation.Resolve issues that arise from audit findings.Respond toauditors on audit data, variances and audit findings.Review for taxation,inflation and risk in investment decisions.Supervise and review the preparationof consolidated financial statements, business activity reports and forecastsfor the management and external stakeholders.Supervise the calculation oftaxable income and income tax costs of the organisation.
