Mechanical / Electrical Inspector - Data Center

About the role

Conduct routine inspections of mechanical or electrical installations (HVAC systems, chilled water piping, generator systems, switchgear, UPS, cabling, etc.) Ensure all works are executed in accordance with design drawings, technical specifications, and applicable codes Monitor contractor activities and verify quality of workmanship Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented Witness and verify testing & commissioning activities (FAT/SAT, pre-functional, functional testing) Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and documentation Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues Ensure compliance with safety standards and project QA/QC procedures Support handover documentation and final acceptance processes Minimum 5-10 years of inspection experience, preferably in data center, mission-critical, advanced manufacturing projects Strong understanding of international standards (ASHRAE, IEEE, NEC, IEC, etc.) Experience in QA/QC inspection processes and documentation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and coordination abilities Join our social media conversations for more information about Turner & Townsend and our exciting future projects: Twitter Instagram LinkedIn It is strictly against Turner & Townsend policy for candidates to pay any fee in relation to our recruitment process.
