Requirements

• License /Certification
• Required:
• Current CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from The National Board for Respiratory Care
• BLS
• Education
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree
• Preferred: Supervisory experience or training
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Preferred expertise in clinical area, excellent written and oral communication skill, and effective interpersonal relationships.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and creative thinking and creative problem solving.
• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of:
• Joint Commission standards. California Respiratory Care Practice Act Applicable sections of Title 22 Applicable Federal guidelines and regulations including HIPPA Policies and procedures for areas supervised
• Provides adequate staff resources for supporting our Mission statement on a daily basis:
• Communicates effectively with key constituencies:
• Practice is guided by the following Code:
• Has 24-hour responsibility for the quality of care and performance improvement activities in area of supervision:
