Responsibilities

  • Perform routine calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instruments and control systems (e.g., bioreactors, sterilizers, filling equipment) to ensure operational accuracy and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate calibration schedules with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and Elanco's corporate calibration programs.

  • What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in calibration or instrumentation within a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Top 2 skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
  • What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or a highly regulated industry with a focus on GMP manufacturing maintenance and documentation.
  • Proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting, programming, and wiring.
  • Previous industrial plant safety training and experience utilizing a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Technical expertise in supporting specialized equipment such as tanks, mixers, pumps, and solids processing machinery.
  • Autonomous self-starter with a proven track record of working effectively within a collaborative team.
