Inpatient Nursing Assistant - Wilson Medical Center & Binghamton General Hospital

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting
• Support meal service and monitor patient intake
• Take and document vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Assist with patient transport and unit support tasks
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
• Collaborate with nurses and other team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Position Qualification
• Preferred:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Completion of a Nurse's Aide program
• Previous hospital or health care experience.
• License/Certification
• Preferred:
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

UHS is currently hiring across several inpatient units with a variety of shifts and FTE opportunities: Telemetry Oncology Rehabilitation- Physical & Brain Neuro/Neuroscience Suite Vascular Unit Medical/Surgical Stepdown Unit Orthopedics Pediatric Unit Medical/Surgical Respiratory Unit Work Locations: UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY UHS Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton, NY There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Primary Work Shift: Rotational Compensation Range: $19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours. -----
