You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Provide support during the conduct of national security and counterintelligence investigations; Develop and deliver Counterintelligence Awareness Training; Collect, evaluate, analyze, and disseminate information on suspicious incidents, activities, and threats; Preparing intelligence reports, briefings, and executive summaries of investigations and operations. GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Investigate potential counterintelligence threats and recommend appropriate investigative plans and strategies necessary to counter Foreign Intelligence Entity efforts; Lead agency efforts to detect national security threats and facilitate multi-jurisdictional law enforcement and intelligence community support; Conduct investigative activities involving national security matters (espionage) and associated Federal criminal violations; Advise senior level executives and managers on policy development related to counterintelligence and national security issues.
