Community IV Nurse

About the role

As a Community IV Nurse, you will support patients from therapy initiation through to ongoing treatment and follow-up within their homes and community settings. You will provide clinical care, patient education, and emotional support while working closely with dietitians, pharmacists, nutrition teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care delivery. This role covers North & North West London, including areas such as: Islington Finchley Hampstead Muswell Hill Enfield Surrounding areas

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with clinical protocols and service standards
• Support patients receiving IV therapies and TPN in the community
• Educate patients, families, and carers to promote safe self-management
• Conduct home visits for treatment initiation and follow-up care
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Adhere to safeguarding, governance, and infection control procedures
• Maintain NMC registration and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Essential
• Registered Nurse (NMC)
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience
• Full UK or Irish driving licence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
• Comfortable using digital systems and electronic documentation
• Enhanced DBS and occupational health clearance
