You will play a crucial role in positioning Suntec Singapore as the premier venue for both local and international events, including conventions, exhibitions, and corporate functions. Your main goal is to secure new business, manage existing accounts, and exceed revenue targets by offering tailored event solutions that meet the clients' needs. Your responsibilities will include: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the MICE industry. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, event organizers, and stakeholders. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Promote Suntec Singapore's full suite of MICE services, including venue rental, catering, and technological solutions. Stay updated on MICE trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities. Collaborate with the various internal teams to ensure smooth execution of events. Support clients in the planning and implementation of their events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up. Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure all event components are delivered efficiently. Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring all client requirements and expectations are met. Conduct site visits, presentations, and proposal pitches to potential clients. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company policies. Provide personalized and effective solutions that align with the client's event objectives. Who we look for - the ideal profile: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the MICE or hospitality industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Excellent understanding of the MICE sector, including market trends and client needs. Ability to build long-term relationships and deliver client-focused solutions. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strategic thinker with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Individuals who find joy in making our customers happy.
