About the role

The LatAm Demand Analytics Lead plays a critical role in enabling and enhancing the Demand Forecasting process across Latin America. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality demand insights that support business decision-making and strengthen the connection between demand planning and the category-driven business model. The role operates across four key pillars: Industry & Market Analysis, Forecasting & Gap Analysis, Demand Reporting, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) . It contributes to driving accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement across forecasting processes, while supporting commercial and supply chain teams with actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Analytics & Forecasting Excellence
  • Analyze consolidated demand plans across markets by category and brand
  • Develop comprehensive demand analysis leveraging statistical forecasting, causal drivers, and market variables
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of volume changes vs Last Cycle (LC), including gap analysis vs plan and YoY growth
  • Monitor forecast deviations and provide actionable insights to close gaps
  • Analyze historical sales trends to identify patterns, seasonality, and outliers
  • Business Insights & Market Intelligence
  • Partner with commercial teams to incorporate market intelligence and business insights into forecasts
  • Understand key assumptions behind consensus demand forecasts across markets
  • Enhance forecasting quality through integration of sales, marketing, and competitor insights
  • Reporting & Demand Planning Support
  • Deliver high-quality reporting and analytics for LatAm categories and brands
  • Provide comprehensive demand cycle analysis to Demand Managers and LatAm stakeholders
  • Support the use and continuous improvement of planning tools and applications
  • Standardize and improve reporting processes across the region
  • Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Actively contribute to IBP cycles by highlighting risks, opportunities, and key trends
  • Support decision-making with clear insights on demand outlooks across categories and markets
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate and optimize demand forecasting processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
  • Promote adoption of best practices in demand planning and analytics
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions with local demand team
  • Qualifications & Skills
  • Essential
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or data analytics roles
  • Strong analytical and statistical modeling capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas; macros are a plus)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, APO or similar)
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with SQL or data query tools is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Advanced English proficiency
