Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Support in-house team of QS/Estimating staff in terms of planning, oversighting and delivery of all estimating outputs.
• Study civil, structural, architectural, MEP and all engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities outlining all individual components required to construct the project.
• Preparation of independent cost estimates (preliminary and detailed) to the required levels of accuracy.
• Liaise directly with design leads (civil, structural, architectural and MEPFS engineering works) in the verification of designs and the preparation of quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors as required for compiling materials and construction costs.
• Prepare cost comparisons for alternatives design schemes to assess viability of options. Provide recommendations on cost effectiveness
• Maintain material suppliers' database for estimating purposes.
• Preparation of DUPA (Detailed Unit Price Analysis) based from DPWH/DOTr standard unit pricing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• At least 5 years' experience
