Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and execute marketing plans to achieve oncology business objectives and goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree in science, business, or healthcare preferred.
  • Proven marketing experience with increasing proficiency in all marketing skills, ideally within oncology or related therapeutic areas.
  • Previous cross-franchise/cross-channel marketing experience preferred, with launch experience highly valued.
  • Strong planning, project management, and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through
  • Robust communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to make persuasive presentations to customers, agencies, partners and senior leadership

Lead strategic and tactical elements of the brand strategy and tactical plan for IMBRUVICA in CLL, including value propositions, positioning, segmentation, and creative development. Develop and articulate effective oncology marketing strategies that are impactful, executable, easily communicated, and clinically/financially supported for relevant areas of responsibility (product/indication/channel). Internally, the Associate Director will foster positive working relationships with the sales force, medical affairs, market research, sales training, regulatory, and other cross-functional marketing teams. Externally, they will work with various agencies, consultants, physicians, and other marketing partners to successfully drive the business. The candidate must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization, with high expectations and accountability on quality of deliverables in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to achieve financial objectives.
