The Team The Medical Advisor will join the Medical Affairs team at Mundipharma and play a vital part in substitution therapy and further products in our product portfolio with the main focus on the German market. The primary purpose of this role is to provide scientific consultation for the company's products within the local organisation, with a particular focus on growth brands. This involves contributing to the local medical strategy, aligning medical goals, and ensuring the implementation of medical brand positioning and patient-centric approaches. Additionally, the role entails broadening the required medical knowledge within the organisation according to business needs and priorities. Role and Responsibilities Providing scientific consultation for the company's products in the local organisation, with a focus on growth brands: Respond to medical-scientific requests/enquiries from healthcare professionals (as required) and communicate medical-scientific information to customers, authorities, and local company organisations. Work closely with the local marketing department and/or Regional Brand Leads to support product positioning through scientific publications, local/regional and global scientific events. Review and approve medical/scientific texts and specialised product and disease area information (promotional and non-promotional materials). Engage healthcare professionals for speaker events at national, regional and international scientific conferences and events Stay updated on scientific trends and knowledge through literature reviews, scientific congresses, conferences, and internal therapeutic area trainings, through close collaboration with global medical teams and self-initiated and conducted literature searches. Broadening of medical knowledge: Provide scientific advice and education on a peer-to-peer level to healthcare professionals (HCPs), KEEs, and other relevant stakeholders. Analyse potential evidence gaps and drive evidence generation activities, identify actionable Medical insights and execute required initiatives. Uphold ethical business practices to preserve and develop the company's reputation and image. Navigate discussions on off-label topics with a high degree of critical thinking and adherence to ethical standards, local codes and company guidance (Standard Operating Procedures - SOPs). Collaborate closely with the sales department and marketing to transmit, maintain, and continuously broaden medical knowledge within the sales force team via regular scientific exchanges and trainings. Monitor medical trainings through knowledge tests, role plays and a continuous cross-functional exchange that is documented on the local SharePoint drive. Close cooperation with the Country Medical Director: Contribute to align medical goals of growth brands within the local organisation. Collaborate with the local marketing team and global medical colleagues to brainstorm and explore medical strategy options. Identify and address specific local medical challenges, through e.g. the collection, interpretation/translation, collation and summary of in-market insights from healthcare professionals and its communication and alignment with local and regional medical teams. Ensure effective communication and implementation of medical brand positioning and patient-centric approaches within the medical network and at the local level.
