  • Silicon NPI (New Product Introduction) leads the transition of complex semiconductor products from design to high-volume manufacturing (HVM). Responsibilities include driving cross-functional strategies for engineering validation, manufacturing yield, supply chain readiness, and cost optimization, ensuring on-time delivery of samples and production ramps.
  • Key job responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the end-to-end silicon NPI strategy, aligning with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to meet product lifecycle milestones (EVT, DVT, PVT)
  • Manufacturing & Yield: Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) requirements. Optimize wafer fabrication, assembly, and test processes to maximize yield and reduce costs, including in advanced packaging.
  • Supply Chain & Ops Readiness: Oversee vendor management, contract manufacturer (CM) strategy, and material procurement to ensure capacity and timely engineering build schedules.
  • Program Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical and supply constraints during the NPI phase, ensuring a seamless transfer to mass production
  • Quality & Reliability: Guarantee that products meet quality standards and reliability specifications before product release in conjunction with the Quality team.
