Responsibilities

  • You will be a motivated and safety-conscious engineer with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
  • Essential Skills for the role:
  • Be Safety focused and adhere to current standards relevant.
  • Qualification in an appropriate Electrical and/or Mechanical discipline.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and practical experience with overhead cranes.
  • Experience working with Konecranes, ABUS, and Demag crane systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults.
  • Working knowledge of current lifting industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience working at height and understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • IPAF 3a and 3b certification.
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • LEEA Diploma or equivalent lifting industry qualification.
  • IOSH Health & Safety certification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, fault diagnosis, and repair of Electric Overhead Travelling Cranes (EOTCs), ensuring maximum reliability, safety, and operational efficiency across the group.
