Responsibilities

- Partner with R&D, Program Management, Quality, and Supply Chain to support global NPIs and design transfer to manufacturing of new products or design changes.
- Support supplier selection and qualification for molds, materials, and external molding partners as needed.
- Travel domestically and internationally approximately 25-40% , depending on project phase and business needs.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in injection molding manufacturing, with significant experience in regulated medical device environments. Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM), Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM), Injection Blow Molding (IBM), Micro Molding and Profile Extrusion highly desirable.
- Deep expertise in thermoplastics, tooling design, scientific molding, and process validation.
- Strong working knowledge of FDA and ISO regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- Proven experience leading complex technical projects and influencing cross-functional teams across multi-site projects end-to-end.
Requirements
- Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification.
- Experience with automation, robotics, and vision systems in molding operations.
- Experience with 24/7 molding operations producing tens to hundreds of millions of parts annually.
- Experience with SolidWorks, DraftSight, etc., or ability to learn
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagrams associated with molding equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project and Minitab, Smartsheet
- Knowledge of RJG and its use, Certifications desirable
