We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager III to support major terminal modernization and capital improvement projects at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). *Salary Range: $175K/Year-$190K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day construction activities for major airport improvement projects Coordinate with contractors, designers, consultants, and airport stakeholders Monitor project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety performance Review construction plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Support project planning, phasing, commissioning, testing, and turnover activities Participate in stakeholder meetings and project coordination efforts Identify project risks and develop solutions to maintain schedule and budget goals Monitor contractor performance and construction progress Assist with the resolution of field issues and construction challenges Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to leadership teams Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and collaboration What We're Looking For 10+ years of construction management experience Experience managing large-scale construction projects in active operating environments Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and contractors Strong communication and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Airport, aviation, transportation, or other large public infrastructure project experience Experience supporting projects valued at $100 million or greater Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CMAR delivery methods Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE, CCM, or similar certifications are a plus We offer one of the most competitive benefit packages in the industry.
