Job summary: Conducts quality inspections combined with the ability to accurately finish and rework intricate features to a high standard, minimizing quality control issues. A strong attention to detail is required to meet or exceed customer requirements, design specifications and company quality standards, dimensionally, in appearance and product reliability. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Conducts first part, in process and final and visual inspection of parts/assemblies in process to ensure operator accuracy and traceability documentation is complete - by monitoring dimensions and visual appearance of components per print, router specifications and quality plans. - Conducts various quality tests verifying conformance to design and print specifications, using equipment such as callipers, thickness gauge micrometres, height gauge, hand gauges, computer radius gauge, pie tapes, optical comparator, manual CMM and precision hand measuring equipment. - Visually inspects parts for any defects including but not limited to blemishes, char, voids and cracks. - Maintains quality records as required by the Quality Management System. - Conducts incoming receiving inspections as required by the Quality Management System. - Requests corrections of routers and prints, initiates NCR's, MRB's and CAR's. - Participates in problem solving analysis and solutions as requested. - Works with minimal supervision. - Able to work in multiple areas of the quality department Required Minimum Qualifications Education/Certifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
