ESL Instructor - Accelerated English language Program (AELP)

Responsibilities

• Instructors teaching the Accelerated Program teach five (5) hours per day for the length of the program.
• Instructors are responsible for the preparation of weekly lesson plans, tests, quizzes and assignments for their courses.
• They are also responsible for the marking and evaluation of in-class work and record keeping.
• Other duties are described in the Non-Credit Part-time Instructor's Job .
• The delivery method for this course will be online.
• The instructor is therefore expected to deliver online synchronous instruction, as well as assigning and managing asynchronous work to students.
• Flexibility around asynchronous class delivery may be necessary depending on students' locations.
