We are seeking a Contingent Worker Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations within ZEISS XRM. In this role, you will analyze production performance, optimize resource planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity across manufacturing lines. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams and apply data-driven methodologies to improve operational performance in a high-tech environment. Perform capacity analysis for long‑ and medium‑term resource planning aligned with business forecasts. Perform time‑study data collection and analysis, driving continuous improvement based on lean line and bay build concepts. Analyze and recommend/execute efficiency and productivity improvements. Execute line balancing, line re-layout and process optimization to maximize line efficiency. Determine factory capacity constraints and inform stakeholders of optimization activities to reduce productivity bottlenecks Lead labor‑hour reduction and cycle‑time improvement projects to enhance operational productivity. Progress dashboards for production metrics, and lead KPI reporting projects. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Five+ years' manufacturing environment experience: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or Logistics Advanced statistical knowledge Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Excellent coding skills: Python and SQL preferred Experience building and maintaining dashboards Project management skills
