About the role

You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR in the Production Resources Department (Code 900), Production Workforce Development and Resource Manager, (900B), Consolidated Training Division (Code 900T), Apprenticeship/Helper to Worker Training Branch (Code 900T.3 )of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience independently developing, revising and adapting assigned courses. Experience conducting needs assessment and task analyses to determine learning objectives. Experience evaluating instructional approaches, developing materials and evaluations, recommending adjustments or modifications to training in accordance with the evaluation. Experience improving and modifying training for assigned courses. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience preparing lesson plans and training materials based on course objectives. Experience conducting training and assessing progress of students in meeting desired objectives, including advising and assisting them to improve performance. Experience obtaining or developing necessary training aids, determining time schedules and sequence of instructions. Experience maintaining training records and developing training reports.
