[What the role is] You will be working in the School of Health & Social Sciences to plan, develop and teach psychology and psychology-cum-lifeskills related modules for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and/or Continuing Education and Training (CET). [What you will be working on] Develop and/or conduct lessons (e.g., lectures, tutorials, seminars, project supervision, etc.) pertaining to psychology and psychology-cum-lifeskills-related subjects (e.g., research, critical thinking, innovation, communication, interpersonal & collaboration skills, etc.) for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET) learners, particularly in the health and social sciences domain. Undertake assigned student mentoring, including accompanying students for overseas educational/exchange trips. Partake in school promotion, administrative and committee duties, especially those that require psychology and/or psychology-related expertise (e.g., research & data analysis, etc.). [What we are looking for] Applicant must have a relevant qualification in psychology, preferably with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Additional qualification in communication and/or other-lifeskills related competency would be an advantage as would working experience in health & social care and/or educational settings. Proficient in IT applications, including familiarity with AI tools, for administration, teaching & learning and research & data analysis. Analytical and meticulous individual who can think strategically and align with NYP and the national agenda. People-oriented individual who possesses strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including the capacity to work well in cross-functional teams.
