Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About the role

Patsnap is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to help enterprise customers successfully adopt AI-native solutions across IP, R&D, innovation, and strategic intelligence workflows. This role sits at the intersection of customer delivery, product implementation, AI solution design, and business problem-solving. You will work closely with customers to understand their real business processes, configure AI Agent workflows, build practical prototypes, and turn customer-specific needs into scalable product capabilities.

Requirements

• - Experience in solution engineering, technical consulting, product delivery, implementation, or customer-facing engineering roles.
• - Strong hands-on ability with AI tools, automation workflows, data analysis, or prototype building.
• - Understanding of enterprise software, SaaS platforms, APIs, workflow automation, or AI Agent concepts.
• - Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• - Business-level English and Japanese preferred for Japan-facing roles.
