SAP Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis & Requirements Management
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements across Finance and operational workstreams.
• Analyze current ("As Is") and future-state ("To Be") business processes.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation.
• Develop business requirements, process maps, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Support workshops, stakeholder interviews, and solution review sessions.
• Conduct gap analysis and business impact assessments.
• Ensure requirements are traceable through design, build, testing, and deployment.
• SAP Transformation Delivery
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation activities across Finance and business functions.
• Work with Process Leads and System Integrators to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Validate SAP functional designs and process outcomes.
• Contribute to process improvements and future-state operating model design.
• Support alignment across Finance, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing SOPs and future-state process documentation.
• Data, Reporting & Process Readiness
• Support data cleansing, validation, migration, and reconciliation activities.
• Assist with master data requirements and business data readiness.
• Document reporting, KPI, and business intelligence requirements.
• Support development of performance measures and metrics.
• Ensure data quality and business readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
• Testing, Deployment & Operational Readiness
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and business validation activities.
• Prepare and execute test scripts and business scenarios.
• Assist with deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Support operational readiness and business transition planning.
• Facilitate successful transition into BAU operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, SMEs, Process Leads, and System Integrators.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and process review meetings.
• Coordinate activities across project workstreams.
• Maintain project documentation, action logs, decision registers, and issue trackers.
• Support governance and project reporting activities.
• Change Management & User Adoption
• Support business readiness, training, and user adoption activities.
• Assist in developing training materials, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Support communication and engagement initiatives for impacted users.
• Identify business impacts, risks, and adoption challenges.
• Contribute to embedding future-state processes and SAP capabilities.

Requirements

• ERP & Business Analysis Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, ERP implementation, or transformation projects.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and business analysis skills.
• Experience preparing business requirements and functional documentation.
• Familiarity with structured project delivery methodologies.
• Technical & Process Knowledge
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of Finance and operational process integration.
• Experience in data analysis, migration, validation, and reporting.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Ability to translate business requirements into ERP-enabled solutions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business, technology, and operational teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
