Responsibilities

  • Leading the product work stream, ensuring that a clear and robust structure is in place, the Product Owner will contribute and work towards the product strategy and vision, contributing to the "digital first" mission statement

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in a Business, Accounting or IT discipline
  • A practitioner of agile working methods with practical experience working in an agile delivery environment
  • Strong track record of the successful delivery and management of high-quality digital products/services
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, from high-level vision, roadmap and service strategy to day-to-day delivery of individual features and stories
  • Strong data interpretation skills and ability to set, manage and monitor service metrics and key performance indicators
  • Understanding of digital landscape/technologies and a clear passion for digital technologies and their potential within ScottishPower
  • Ability to work across business boundaries, both within the Digital Team in ScottishPower Energy Retail but also across ScottishPower Systems UK, IOC Spain, Iberdrola Digital and Digital peers across the wider Iberdrola Group
  • Minimum Criteria
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Delivery experience within a commercial digital environment
  • Stakeholder Management and Leadership skills
  • Strong commercial awareness with understanding of commercial impact and opportunities of online/self-serve customer service, marketing and sales
  • Awareness of Regulatory environment
