Be the Backbone of Recycling: Join Us as a Site Operative Location: East Grinstead Working Days: Monday and Thursday (2 days per week) Working Hours: Summer (01 April to 30 September): 08:45 to 18:15, with a 30 minute unpaid break Winter (01 October to 31 March): 08:45 to 16:15, with a 30 minute unpaid break Pay Rate: £12.91 per hour A quick look at the role. As a Site Operative , you'll play a vital role in ensuring our recycling centre runs safely and efficiently. From assisting visitors to maintaining the site, your work will help create a cleaner, greener community. Your core responsibilities. Support the day-to-day operations and ensure everything runs smoothly. Assist visitors in sorting and recycling waste effectively. Keep the site clean, safe, and organized. Prevent commercial and non-compliant waste from entering the site. Promote recycling by maximizing waste segregation wherever possible.
