In this role, you will support the daily management of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth operations. - Lead and motivate the team through busy service periods, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment - Assist in crew training and development, inspiring team members to reach their full potential - Proactively improve guest experience by maintaining high standards of service and addressing customer feedback Support inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising waste - Assist in financial management tasks, including cash handling and basic reporting - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards - Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to implement new initiatives and achieve business goals - Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally - Assist in creating staff schedules and managing shift rotations - Maintain a clean and organised restaurant environment, adhering to company standards Proven experience leading a team within a busy, high-volume hospitality environment - Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - Passion for inspiring, leading, and developing team members - Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards - Proficiency in restaurant management software - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills - Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities - Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving business targets - A relevant qualification in hospitality management is desirable but not essential
