Responsibilities
- Analyze cases to determine all pertinent facts and develop legal theories/strategies in the defense of lawsuits
- Identify potential exposure to policyholders or the Exchange
- Develop and implement appropriate discovery plan and motions, as needed
- Prepare for, attend, and defend all court proceedings related to cases, including trials and arbitrations
- Regularly communicate with policyholders and claims representatives regarding case developments

Requirements
- JD Required
- 7-9 years Insurance defense law Required
- Thorough understanding of insurance contracts.
- Firm grasp of trial procedures and the rules of the evidence.
- Valid Driver's License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record and minimum liability insurance - Issued by State Required
- The starting pay range for this position is $68.45 - $91.22 per hour.
