About the role

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE BUSINESS & ANALYSIS GROUP, SECURITY DEPARTMENT, ADVANCED SECURITY DIVISION, SPECIAL SECURITY (CLK-PM) BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying general knowledge of security policies for protecting CUI and classified information; 2) Preparing and communicating guidance regarding security protocols with oversight; 3) Assisting with facility access control, including visitor verification and escort procedures within a secure space; and 4) Applying basic security markings and assists with the proper handling and destruction of classified materials. (DA-02): Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band (DA-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Planning and organizing work; and 3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing.
