Sales and Marketing Fellow

About the role

Principal Responsibilities Help grow customers within our existing retail, MFI, export, and corporate channels. Develop new distribution channels and institutional partnerships, specifically by designing our strategy for large-scale distribution and financing. Work with Sales Reps on areas of professional development. Plan and conduct marketing events with our team of 20 activators Consult with VP Sales and Marketing on sales strategy for export. Help develop internal systems for new Direct Sales team. Help develop strategy for new Direct Sales team. Desired Experience Strong oral and written communication skills High level of comfort working with clients Enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to 'sell for good' Consumer product sales experience Preference will be given to MBA students/recent graduates with sales & marketing experience and candidates with East African experience Location and Duration: 12-month fellowship in Ruiru, Kenya to begin in early 2017. Fellows receive a stipend of $1,100 per month and housing in a company house. BURN will provide one round trip flight at the beginning and end of the fellowship.
