Responsibilities
- Regulatory compliance leadership

- Provide high quality reporting to the Board, Executive and Committees, delivering meaningful insights into compliance performance, key risks and regulatory developments.
- Business partnership & continuous improvement
- Partner with teams across the business to design practical controls that strengthen compliance while supporting commercial objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies and local procedures that are fit for purpose and easy to embed across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes through technology, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

- 10+ years' experience leading Compliance functions within financial services, consumer finance, payments or fintech.
- Deep knowledge of Australian and New Zealand regulatory frameworks, including consumer credit, financial services licensing, privacy and broader regulatory obligations.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and enhancing enterprise compliance frameworks and governance programs.
- Strong leadership experience with a track record of building, developing and inspiring high performing teams.
- Experience authoring and presenting Board and Committee papers, with the ability to communicate complex regulatory matters clearly and confidently.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively and build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Commercial judgement and a pragmatic approach to balancing regulatory requirements with business outcomes.
- A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
