About the role
We are seeking a Lifting Technician to join ourexpanding operations team. You will support our Authorised Examiners (AE) andCompetent Persons (CP) in the inspection, load testing and certification oflifting equipment and gear across client sites. Job Responsibilities Load testing of liftingsystems - static (anchor points, lifelines, davits), dynamic (cranes, hoists,winches) and proof load tests - including on-site rig setup, test execution anddocumentation for MOM-compliant certification. Visualinspection and load testing of lifting gear : shackles, hooks, wireropes, slings, lifting beams, spreader bars, chain blocks and rigging, andapply tamper-evident tags upon certification. Inspect and testlifting equipment :chain & lever blocks, fishpole hoists, overhead/pillar/davit cranes,vehicle-mounted cranes (1T-25T) and lorry loaders with articulating arms. Set up,transport and operate test loads and test equipment safely at client premises. Assist inpreparing inspection records, test reports and certificates under thesupervision of the Authorised Examiner. Maintain testequipment and uphold WSH safety standards on every job. Job Requirements Minimum Higher Nitech / Diploma. Mechanical knowledge / experience. This is a hands-on, on-site role involving the maintenanceand repair of overhead mechanical equipment in an industrial environment. Training will be provided for candidates with less or no priorexperience. Class 3 Driving license mandatory
