Class 5 Driver

About the role

We are looking for an experienced class 5 Driver to join the Christchurch team picking up the afternoon shift. In this role you will be responsible for safely transporting trucks to and from Kate Valley Landfill. You will be driving a Hook truck and a B Train. Some of your responsibilities will be: Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required. Operate computerized systems and other work related systems. Perform loading and unloading duties and transport and disposal of varying waste materials, in accordance with company and client requirements. Undertake servicing, delivery and processing of waste as required. Class 5 NZ License At least 3 years heavy vehicle driving experience Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team Mechanical aptitude Waste industry knowledge and experience (desirable) What's in it for me Guaranteed hours and job security.
