Ground Autonomy Control Engineer II - New Glenn

Requirements

• B.S. or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Aerospace, Software, or related field)
• 2+ years of experience in the applicable industry and/or a controls-related role in a non-academic, professional setting
• Experience with Simulink or other model-based design software
• Experience working in a configuration managed development environment
• Knowledge of common programming languages such as C/C++, Python
• Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, including the ability to integrate AI-driven solutions into engineering workflows
• Willingness to learn and work with AI model integration, deployment, and optimization
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with GitLab
• Experience with plant simulations
• Experience with software integration
• Experience with StateFlow
• Strong understanding of current AI tools and frameworks, and ability to leverage these technologies to enhance automation, data analysis, and decision-making processes within aerospace applications
• Compensation Range for:
• WA applicants is $107,136.00 - $149,990.40

You will translate your understanding of P&ID drawings into robust Simulink control algorithms, converting cutting-edge concepts into executable, flight-ready code. Our team develops safety-critical software, so experience with verification and validation is highly valued. You will collaborate closely with the simulation team to verify control models and work in tandem with the launch team to validate your software in real-world scenarios.
