Professional onboarding and training optionsPowerful team looking forward to working with youCareer coaching and development opportunitiesIn this role, a typical day will look like:Project Business Support:Actively engage in detailed product presentations and live demonstrations, representing the full Hach portfolio to customersWork closely with Hach Japan sales teams to develop integrated solutions tailored to customer needsSupport product selection and solution design to ensure optimal application fit across the full portfolioManage project documentation and support commercial negotiations in coordination with Hach JapanMarket Development Initiatives:Develop and execute market development strategies for municipal (water supply & wastewater) and industrial segmentsBuild strong networks with EPCs, system integrators, and plant manufacturers to expand market accessIdentify new application opportunities and drive adoption of advanced technologiesStrengthen Hach's presence in Japan by promoting a unified "One Hach" value propositionChannel & Stakeholder Coordination:Ensure alignment in customer engagement and sales executionCoordinate sales transactions and opportunity ownership across both organizationsProduct Innovation and Collaboration:Capture customer feedback and market insights to identify unmet needs and emerging trendsCollaborate with Product Management and global teams to support product development aligned with Japan market requirementsProvide competitive insights, including knowledge of local competitorsTraining and Seminar Leadership:Deliver technical training, seminars, and workshops to customers, channel partners, and internal teamsPromote early adoption of new technologies through education and engagementThe essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Hydrology, or related field) or Business5-7 years of experience in water treatment, measurement instrumentation, or related industriesStrong experience in municipal water and wastewater projectsSolid understanding of water supply and sewage treatment plant processesProven experience working with system integrators, EPCs, or plant manufacturersExperience in measurement instruments and analytical solutionsFamiliarity with competitors in the Japan marketStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple organizationsDemonstrated ability to coordinate complex sales processes involving channel partnersAbility to translate customer needs into technical and commercial solutionsStrategic thinking with strong planning and execution capabilitiesIntercultural agility and ability to work in a matrix organizationNative-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency requiredHealth insuranceVision insurance
