Dishwasher (Airport Lounge)

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, kitchen equipment, and other food service items using both manual and machine methods.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of dish racks and operate dishwashing machines safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, sinks, and trash areas.
• Properly dispose of waste and recyclables according to lounge and airport waste management procedures.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and inventory when required.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and airport safety standards at all times.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks during busy periods, such as preparing trays or wiping down prep areas.
• Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards appropriate for an airport lounge environment.
• Available to work both day and night shifts
• Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role in hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Team player with a respectful and cooperative attitude.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings/late nights (subject to airport operations).
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
